Founder & CEO
My career has moved through the institutions where decisions about AI are actually made — not studied, made. The U.S. State Department. Capitol Hill. The Department of Homeland Security. Meta. Microsoft. That trajectory isn't background color. It is the work.
I hold dual master's degrees from Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs — one of the country's leading programs in public policy and international relations. My academic foundation in policy analysis and governance informs how I approach AI regulation: not as a compliance checklist, but as an institutional accountability problem.
I founded Personal Algorithms LLC to bring that experience directly to organizations navigating the gap between what their AI governance programs say on paper and what would actually hold up under scrutiny. My clients are General Counsels, Chief Risk Officers, Chief Privacy Officers, M&A counsel, and compliance leaders at organizations where the stakes of getting governance wrong are high.
I am not a lawyer. This work is compliance and governance advisory — grounded in operational experience across government enforcement, Big Tech regulatory operations, and federal AI program management. What I offer is specificity about what regulators, courts, and boards actually look for, and the ability to build programs that meet that standard.
I also serve as a LinkedIn Learning instructor, with two published courses on AI governance and compliance — reaching professionals across industries who are building or overseeing AI programs in regulated environments.
